Bomb Blasts In Pakistan

                                          BOMB BLASTS IN PAKISTAN
rocked the whole country. These successive blasts have caused a heavy loss of life and property. The terrorists are targeting public places as well as certain personalities. The whole administration seems totally helpless in this regard.
There are many factors behind these bomb blasts in the country. First of all foreign hand seems. Involved in these blasts. We are paying heavy price for supporting the Kashmir cause and the war against terrorism. Agents of RAW commit acts of terrorism to teach Pakistan a tough lesson for supporting the Kashmir cause. Similarly KHAD and MOSSAD are busy in destabilizing Pakistan second. Anti Islam and anti-Pakistan elements commit cowardly acts like bomb blasts. Out nuclear program and economic progress are an eye-sore for them. Third frustrated and discarded elements like certain ethnic political and sectarian groups are also suspected giving a finger in the pie. Fourth our concerned law and order agencies have miserably failed to check acts of terrorism our to the it corruption inefficiency ,is managements poor training in vigilance political involvement lack of professionalism and want of seems of duty. No less important factor is the carelessness and ignorance on the pat of the general public. Almost none of us adopts any precautionary measures to avoid such bomb blasts.
Proper measures should be taken to check further bomb blasts in the country. The concerned agencies must be extra vigilant efficient watchful and professional. The arrested culprits should be given exemplary punishments. The must be hanged publicly. The government should keep a strict watch on the unwanted and anti-state parties and elements. Infiltration from across the borders must be should not compromise out honor prestige integrity and principled stand on Kashmir. We should also promote an atmosphere of peace amity brotherhood sacrifice justice equality unity and consensus in the country. Then we should adopt all possible precautionary measures to check such bomb blasts. No doubt such measures will help us a great deal incubating such type of terrorism.

Aids

                                                                                AIDS

The virus causing AIDS is known as HIV – Human immune Deficiency Virus. AIDS became a clinic disease in 1981in USA. There are nearly five million AIDS parents throughout the world. It is still an incurable disease. Hectic efforts to find a remedy for it are afoot. Without proper blood tests, to is difficult to diagnose it because its say melons are confused with weight loss, night sweats, profound fatigue, anemia, skin rashes, tumor, episodes of fever, pneumonia, etc. This deadly disease is spreading like a bush-fir throughout the world particularly in those countries here free sex is common. Pakistan is also not free from AIDS. The official count of AIDS- parents in Pakistan lies at 5000 and an estimated twenty to thirty thousand. Unless checked on war-footing the situation will become even worse.
Many factors contribute to AIDS First it is the result of sexual intercourse with the affected person male or female. Besides prostitution homo-sexuality extra-marital relations pollution of mind detachment from religion and morality etc all limits of morality.
No doubt out sincere return to religion morality and piety can save us from a menace like AIDS because the solution to all our ills lies in religion

Use of Science In Modern Life or Science In The Service of Man

USE OF SCIENCE IN MODERN LIFE OR  SCIENCE IN THE SERVICE OF MAN
If a man who lived a hundred years ago could be brought back into the scene of modern life he would feel stunned overwhelmed. He would feel like a fish out of water he would feel ill at ease. Times have changed sp fast that very few people have been able to keep track of them. Different phases have melted into one another. The real modern age began with the invention of steam. Then the invention of the use of electricity took the world a few steps further. And today we cannot dream of living our daily life without the latest gifts and help of science. Apart from the common things which we use every moment of our lives science has given us many invaluable gifts. We write with the fountain pen we have a telephone we have a motor car to take us to sixty kilometers in fifteen if we have the courage to go that fast and there if the aero plane that sweeps the sky faster than sound travels. These are the wonders of science and we use them every moment of our life.
But if we take look at the great progress that science has made in the field of health we are taken aback. New medicines and injections have been invented for the control and cure of various diseases. Even most dangerous diseases like T.B, cancer Plaque etc have been brought under control through the use of wonderful drugs given be science.
There id nothing that science may not do in future. Perhaps a day will soon come when man will not have to use his hand to lift his food to his mouth. Perhaps some scientific gadget will so it for him. There are thousands of synthetic products which have been invited during the past few years. They make the use of the natural and original things almost unnecessary. We are getting even synthetic rive and scientific sugar. What more can we expect of science? But all countries have not made equal progress in the field of science. Developing countries have been struggling to march along the path of science but there are many difficulties in the way and the greatest difficulty is want of money and material resources. So it should be the normal duty of the countries that have made great progress in science to come to the help of poor developing countries. When all nation of the world learn to help one another and live together the aims of science will be fulfilled.

The Value of Computer or And The Modern World

THE VALUE OF COMPUTER OR THE COMPUTER AND THE MODERN WORLD
A computer is an electronic device that solves problems by processing data according to instructions. The world computer has been derived from the Latin word computer which means to reckon up. Lightning speed superb accuracy high reliability unmatched integrity etc are some of the characteristics of a computer which have made its application so pervasive. There is hardly any field of human activity where it is not used. It has revolutionized knowledge and information processing system. Knowledge is power and so the chip has become a mighty thing.
The tireless and marvelous machine man’s wonderful brain child can perform a number of complicated calculations instantly. A computer can execute over a million instructions per second and that too as many times as you like and without any mistake. Computer has helped in overcoming many difficult problems of multiple calculations scientific data processing record keeping and industrial complications. It has proves a matchless friend and servant of science technology and industry. The applications of computers are many. They are used on almost all spheres of life. In the field of engineering it is helping a lot. It helps in designing the building structures finding the correct and effective material mixtures and safety measures for earthquake and sound proof rooms.
The new technologies such as Multi Media bring text images graphics audio video animation to educate and entertain the public. On computers we can play cards chess snooker tennis etc. Computer has brought about a revolution in the field of travel by the automation of travel airplanes and reservations. Computer are helping the travelers by navigating ships flying airplanes weather predictions scheduling booking ticketing and traffic controlling. The fear the one day computers would replace human mind intelligence which always depends on human consciousness computer is machine a product of human intelligence and operation. We may say that computer is the magician of this age.

The Misuse of The Discoveries of Science

THE MISUSE OF THE DISCOVERIES OF SCIENCE
The fairy tales of science are a wonder of wonders yet we see them around us. They are woven into the texture of our life. On it positive and creative side the list of its benefactions is difficult to make. Science has presented us with so many pleasures amenities and comforts which add charm and variety to life. It has reduced human affliction and suffering through a variety of inventions and discoveries. The cinema the radio the television the computer the internet system the railways the puffing luxury liner the streamlined automobiles the airlines all these are the gifts of science. It has opened regions which were hitherto a sealed book. We have plumbed the ocean flown over the Everest ransacked the nature and despoiled her of her secrets which have contributed to the tremendous progress of the world. The crowning achievement of science is how ever the release of atomic energy. This energy has enormous industrial and commercial potentialities.
Science thus misused by unscrupulous men without conscience is our bane Science in itself is a noble pursuit but it is the ape and tiger in man the beast in him that uses it for his sinister end and makes it ignoble. The real danger therefore does not come from the atom and hydrogen bombs but from this wickedness in man. To this monstrous train of science rushing full speed we have to apply the brake of morality. We must apply the brake or we shall crash and perish. The need for mankind of it is to serve is to go back to the supremacy of the moral law and take the path of self conquest. If this spirit could dominate the activities of science its abuse and misuse and the horrors that stalk in their wake will be heard no more and the world will become a suitable place to live in.

Nuclear Pakistan

                                                            NUCLEAR PAKISTAN
With the grace of Allah, Pakistan became a nuclear power on May 28 1998. Thanks to the nuclear explosion of  India on May 11,1998. Pakistan is the first Muslim country that has achieved this capability. Pakistan was forced to become a nuclear power for its very survival in the teeth of hegemonic nuclear India. Bo doubt, we have achieved a reliable deterrent in the form nuclear weapons to check any evil designs against Pakistan.
There are many advantages of our becoming a nuclear power. First, we have succeeded in restoring the disturbed military balance between India and Pakistan. Second, we have achieved a reliable deterrent against a foreign danger. We cannot match India in conventional weapons. So, a nuclear deterrent will prove very effective. Third we have checked the India aggressive and hegemonic designs against Pakistan. Furth, it has created a sense of self-reliance in us. Now we need not run from pillar to post to seek military aid from ferine monopolists. Fifth, it has earned a respectable status for Pakistan particularly in the eyes o the Islamic world. Above all, it has forced adamant India to come to the dialogue-table to solve all core issues including Kashmir through dialogues.
The world has already found Pakistan responsible state. No doubt a responsible nuclear Pakistan can play an important role in maintaining and promoting peace progress prosperity and stability in the whole world.

Kalabagh Dam

                                                            KALABAGH DAM
Having remained in the cold storage for so many years, Kalabagh Dam is once again in the limelight. It has become crystal clear to all and sundry that the construction of this mega project is inevitable not only for the progress and prosperity but also for the future water requirements of Pakistan. AS this project has always met severe criticism, no government could initiate its construction although all the feasible reports and surveys okayed this project. The present government, with its vow to construct Kalabagh and Bhasha dams at all costs, has seemingly opened a new Pandora’s box. Let us wait and see which way the wind blows.
The proposed site for Kalabagh Dam is 15 miles above Kalabagh city on the Indus river, with the reservoir in the NWFP and the dam in punjab. It would be 11,000 feet long and 060 feet above river bed. Its storage capacity would be 6.1 million acre feet. The total land consumed would be 35000 acres; Punjab sharing 27500 and NWFP 7500 acres respectively.
The need for mega dams like Kalabagh and Bhasha has increased all the more as per future water requirements of Pakistan. First, out of the 140 MAF water flowing annually in the river Indus, only 107 MAF is consumed for irrigation while the rest (33 MAF) goes to drain. By harnessing this water, we can not only generate abundant electricity but also meet out water demands during dry season. Second, the present reservoirs like Terbela, Mangla and war sake are constantly losing their capacity, strength and age due to desalting and unusual wear and tear. Hence, we need now mega dams. Third, the small dams are  cost-effective, short-lived and flood-prone while mega dams like Kalabagh are low cost-effective, long lasting and flood proof.
Pakistan urgently needs to increase water supply in order to meet fast-growing food, fibred and energy requirements. There fore, the immediate construction of Kalabagh Dam is inevitable. Otherwise, the country will be terribly short of water, power and grain. Let us construct Kalabagh Dam with consensus in the best interest of the country and nation. We should be ready to face minor losses for big gains.

Load Shedding In Pakistan

                                                             Load shedding in Pakistan
Electricity is in short supply in Pakistan, and as a result electric load shedding, breakdowns, power outages, fluctuations, blackouts, etc, are a common feature in the country. Whether it is summer or winter load shedding is there. Sometimes it is scheduled, while on other occasions it is totally unscheduled. The latter is the worst because it causes untold problems and hardships to the electricity dependent community.  It can be confidently said that the electric supply has never been reliable at any time in Pakistan
There are many factors behind electric load shedding in Pakistan. These factors include shortage in river waters, over-population, new connections, electric supply to villages, low generation of electricity fewer dams, power-theft, lice losses, etc. Then, load shedding is the result of corruption of electricity, mismanagement and defective planning in WAPDA. Besides, incomplete projects like Kalabagh Dam, misuse of available resources no generation from atomic and solar energy, lack of consensus and the apathy of the government contribute to load shedding
Pakistan cannot make progress in any field in the presence of load shedding. Therefore, the government should take all possible measures to end load shedding from the country. First of all, should remove corruption, inefficiency and mismanagement from WAPDA. Second, new mega dams should be constructed without further delay. Third, the present available resources should be developed immediately. Fourth, power should be generated from solar and nuclear energy. Fifth, power-theft should be stopped forthwith. On the other hand, people should make wise and proper use of electricity. The should turn to using energy saving devices. No doubt, such steps can help a great deal in ending load shedding from the country.

Kashmir Problem

                                                               KASHMIR PROBLEM
Human rights have been recognized by the United Nations Organization and big powers of the world. But there are still some countries which are deprived of their basic human rights. They are still being crushed by the imperialistic rulers. They are facing violence injustice and cruelty. Kashmir is one of them. The English rulers sold the state of Kashmir to Gulab Singh, Dogra Sardar, for a very small amount first the people of Kashmir were subjected to untold miseries by the Dogra and afterwards by the Indian armies. Pakistan has been trying to solve the issue in a peaceful manner but all her efforts proved futile.
In 1948, the oppressed Kashmir is revolted against the Dogra tyranny and with the help of Pakistani people they
Succeeded in liberating a part of their motherland. This liberated part is called Azad Kashmir. India took this issue to U.N.O. The United Nations Organization adopted a resolution guaranteeing supported her and plebiscite could not be held up to his day

Inflation Of Ricing Of Prices

                                                     INFLATION OF RICING OF PRICES
Inflation is one of the major problems of the world. It is an economic term. It means constant increase in the supply of money. When the central bank expands the money supply or money in circulation inflation takes place. The prices of commodities and services rise due to increase in demand inflation rises its ugly head. In ordinary speech inflation is often taken to high prices. The problem of rising prices has become very serious. Most of the people in our country are poor. They have very small income. There are some salaries persons wit a fixed income. Therefore they are badly hit by the rising prices of the essential commodities of daily use. The prices of goods are rising every day in our country. The living standard of the poor people is dwindling day by day. Inflation gives rise to some malpractices in the society. The people who fine it difficult to meet their daily expenses they are compelled to adopt unfair means to get money. They become robbers dacoits thieves and pick- pockets. The government officials start taking bribery and abusing their powers. In this way they promote injustice and cruelty in the society. Growing social and political evils like bribery hoarding tax evasion smuggling profiteering and political chaos become rampant due to selfish interest and moral apathy. There is no sanctity of law in such a society. People believe in the saying. Make hay while the sun shines.
In order to check inflation some solid steps should be taken sincerely. The Government should frame reasonable and realistic policies. It should curtail its non-productive expenditures. The government should increase industrial and agricultural production. It should control the birth-rate through family planning programmers. It should check the import of luxury goods.
